Exploring Cellular Gateways: Unraveling the Secrets of Disordered Proteins within Live Nuclear Pores
Research Square (In Review)
High-speed 2D single-molecule tracking and virtual 3D super-resolution microscopy in live HeLa cells map the spatial distribution of all eleven FG-rich nucleoporins within individual nuclear pore complexes, revealing a capped trichoid channel spanning ~270 nm that accommodates multiple passive and facilitated transport pathways.
